ATTORNEY AT LAW
Jameson Gideon grew up in Eugene and attended the University of Oregon. He graduated in 2005 with a BA in Political Science and obtained minors in Business Administration and World History. He was active in various student organizations including Greek life and was Co-President of the UO Pre-Law Society.
In 2007, Jameson began working in Oregon politics and became Chief of Staff for a couple State Representatives until he left the Capitol to pursue his Juris Doctor degree at Willamette University College of Law in 2017.
At Willamette University College of Law, he completed a rigorous specialized study program earning a Certificate in Law & Government. This legal education built upon his experience at the Capitol by expanding his knowledge of statutory interpretation and administrative law. In addition, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and was a legal extern for the Oregon Home Builders Association. Jameson was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 2020 and briefly worked at a general practice business law firm before joining Employment Law Professionals.
Jameson and his wife live in Salem with their West Highland White Terrier. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, water-fowl hunting, cooking, watching Duck athletics, and going to the dog park. He is a member of the Federalist Society, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and the Christian Legal Society. He is also a founding member of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to constructing a monument for a WWII Medal of Honor nominee.
