Biography
Jameson Gideon grew up in Eugene and attended the University of Oregon. He graduated in 2005 with a BA in Political Science and obtained minors in Business Administration and World History. He was active in various student organizations including Greek life and was Co-President of the UO Pre-Law Society.
In 2007, Jameson began working in Oregon politics and became Chief of Staff for a couple State Representatives until he left the Capitol to pursue his Juris Doctor degree at Willamette University College of Law in 2017.
At Willamette University College of Law, he completed a rigorous specialized study program earning a Certificate in Law & Government. This legal education built upon his experience at the Capitol by expanding his knowledge of statutory interpretation and administrative law. In addition, he was a member of the Moot Court Board and was a legal extern for the Oregon Home Builders Association. Jameson was admitted to the Oregon Bar in 2020 and briefly worked at a general practice business law firm before joining Employment Law Professionals.
In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, water-fowl hunting, cooking, and watching Duck athletics. He is a member of the American Association for Justice (AAJ), the Federalist Society, Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society, and the Christian Legal Society. He is also a founding member of a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to constructing a monument for a WWII Medal of Honor nominee. Education
