Luke Dahlin was born and raised in the Portland Metro area.
After graduating high school in 2012, he earned his Associates degree from Clackamas Community College. After CCC, he earned his Bachelors in Sociology from Portland State University.
While attending PSU, Luke was active in the student Sociology club, Portland State Pre-Law Society, and weekly Downtown Bible Class at the Portland Art Museum.
For his senior capstone project, Luke participated in “The Beat Within” putting on writing workshops for juveniles in detention.
The experience in the writing workshops solidified Luke’s drive to attend law school and in January 2020, he was accepted into Willamette University College of Law’s JD program.
Luke is interested in Employment law, Criminal law, and Juvenile justice.
Before attending law school, Luke took a couple gap-years to work in IT as a tier 1 computer support technician for low vision and blinded veterans.
Luke also has extensive experience in the golf industry. He worked as a caddie and bag room attendant for 7 years at local country clubs.
Luke’s hobbies are golfing, basketball, and running. On weekends, Luke and his wife enjoy many of the great coffee shops around town. His go-to drink is a simple latte
